Somewhere through the years we have lost the early records but with some early members still around we may be able to put some more text onto these pages.
Wilf Parker
Wilf was a founder member of the club. In our 50th aniversary celebration do it was reported that "Mr W. A. Parker called a meeting on Thursday 15 Jan 1953 at the Speech House Hotel." and was voted in as president in 1962 when the club separated from the Car section of the club. Wilf had started a motorcycle shop in Lydney (which was a mecca for many members) which ran for years until Wilf and his family moved to Australia in1967 where he was to help found another club which still runs to this day Pathfinders Trials Motorcycle Club. Wilf passed away in 1991 aged 81
