Meeting Venue is The Orepool Inn

Over the last 69 years we have been guests at various venues. Back in 2011 we were at the Berry Hill Rugby Club for about 5 years. Prior to that the Orepool and going back: The Miners Sling, The Crown Coalway, The Nags Head Yorkley, The Speech House. (We may have missed some - tell us.)

We were always made most welcome at the Rugby Club and the Wyegate has run from there on several occasions. However, the Rugby Club used to open up especially for us on Monday evenings, and following organisational changes we discussed the actual economics of this for both parties and decided that, as our Monday night meets twice a month are well established we didn't really want to change to another night, and we're a bit too mean to offer to pay a room rent! So by mutual agreement, a venue change was going to be the best solution, and sometimes a change is a good thing. We have left the Rugby Club on very good terms, and would like to offer our many thanks for looking after us while we were there.

So, as of August 15th 2011 we will return to our old venue at the Orepool Inn, Sling. Goggle where it is?

Ask at the bar for where we are and don't worry if we are half way through something, just grab a chair, and we will talk to you after the discussion. See you there!

Just in case you are wondering what to expect - There may be between 10 to 40 of us there including females.
