We've updated some minor errors but spotted that Jamie Laverton had elected to move up to Club/Expert route which means he now has the Best Youth B award.
This was a Sunday Trial for youth and adults of all abilities. The trial was also day 2 of the ACU Western's Youth Development Squad's Summer Training Camp. Adults and youths who booked into the training day get to try out their newly found skills in a proper trial on the last day at whatever level route they choose. The venue is right on the Welsh Border so catered for both sides of the border too.
This was also a round of the ACU Western C/D/E Trials Championship. Riders didn't need to register. Just enter as normal. Click the link above to see if your points have been entered yet!
The ACU Western Youth Development Squad, who make this Trial possible and provide workers to help West Glos, have regular updates on their Facebook page and more info about how to book future training days on the ACU Western website.

The age old arguments about our sport will go on forever. You know the ones like '2-strokes will never catch-on' from the 50's. Then '4-strokes are no good for trials' from 70's - Think Eddy Lejeune. Now we have 'Those electric bikes will never be good for Trials'. Try telling Ben that! Actually ... Try telling Merv Powell too, he's obviously forgotten the old sayings about 4-Strokes and using 60 yr old technology!
For a club that has a good percentage of Enduro riders it was great to see an entrant who has done tons for our sport with both riding and helping organise events riding an old 'un very well indeed. So let's give his business a plug Steve-Plain.co.uk
