The Old Hendre Trail Bike Trial - 7 th August 2010

This was a fun event suitable for trail bikes and novice trials riders. Enduro bike riders would have struggled to squeeze round!
We just about had enough riders - the majority on trials bikes! Cakes were provided by Teresa as promised
The forecast wasn't far off - a bit of a shower soon after the start had us a bit worried, but overall it stayed dry.
We had plenty of help, and special thanks to Jim, Paul, Glen and Malcolm for manning their posts for a couple of hours, and thanks to the other club members who kept a watchful eye on the proceedings and cleared the course in double-quick time at the end.
It appears that all those who entered had a good ride around, there was certainly plenty of banter, and almost a reluctance to leave at the end (well, until the cake had gone anyway!)
Teresa says many thanks for the donations for cake which amounted to £34 which will go to Maggies Cancer Caring Centres. (www.maggiescentres.org)
