Arran's back - after 16 years! He was playing tit-for-tat with Robbie all through the afternoon, swapping lines (and more) with one another, Arran had fastest time on 3 hills to Robbies one but 2 seconds separated them at close of play.

We did say bringing a big trailee might require some thought, and a sanity check but one person tested and passed the sanity scrutineer to earn a title of Spirit of the Hills. You couldn't miss a Yam FJ600 Diversion with knobblies and a big sprocket making music as soon as it was pointing in the right direction. Harvey Bennion, take a bow, and thanks for the entertainment.

And talking of different bikes entered, it was fabulous having 2 Electric contenders, one adult Oset and the complete opposite end of the scale, local Moss Davis on his Stark Varg taking 4th in the Enduro class.

A number of applications to change bike were applied for, meaning a few were riding unfamiliar bikes. It didn't stop Fred Bish enjoying a first Enduro ride on the (village) 200 Gasser instead of the planned Sherco 300.

The class wins were Dan Bish Enduro, Arran Wells MX, Steve Wallwin Trailbike and Viv Jones Trials. Only 8 Fails were recorded this year so it wasn't too tough and perfect ground conditions with no mud to wash off just a bit of cow poo.

Thanks Jules for leaving us this legacy, you continue to bring loads of smiles and fun.
