Anniversary DVD'sWe have an 71minute long DVD of the 25th Anniversary 2 day event which is available for a donation to cover production and the profits go to our Air Ambulances (Same arrangement as for the Baldwin Tapes, see below). There were a limited number of special edition DVD's as shown in the picture. Normal DVDs in a recycled case are available for order and can be picked up at one of our events/Meetings. Posting will be extra. Note these have None of those annoying music tracks or indeed any sound (Ok, I admit the Camcorder was faultyand didn't record sound.) Contact admin@wgdfmcc.org.uk

Here is a trailer for the vid. Sorry about the poor quality, it is YouTube so it blends in with the other rubbish on there!

The Baldwin Tapes

This is a series of videos that Roger Baldwin, a previous chairman of our club and very popular member, took of our exploits and events from 1983 through to 1995. You may remember that not everyone and their dog had video cameras back then and Roger was an early advocate of the Betamax format, unfortunately the legacy of that choice has left us with a considerable quality loss through conversion processes. Roger was just unlucky with his choice of technology in this instance but he was way in front when he bought into the full suspension mountain bike world with his Proflex, he wowed all the fellow club members who were using MTB's to keep fit (and possibly save their driving licences.) Anyhow, Rog saved us all a brilliant record of bad dress sense if nothing else!

These will be available as DVD sets or individually. There will be no profit taken out of the cost of these, the cost of producing them is less than £2 so the minimum of £5.00 charged (You are very welcome to pay more! which is convenient as we weren't going to give change from any tenners!) will provide a good donation to something we all would be very grateful for, when out and about on our travels and in the more inaccessible countryside, namely, the Air Ambulances that cover our area. (Glos and borders and Welsh side.) At least one of us has already benefitted from it and, looking back, I could have done with it too.

Each DVD may contain about 2 hours and could be made up from any mixture of the the following. The durations have now been added in Minutes and Seconds so you can pick what fits with your interest and what fits on a DVD.
